South Stawell Gold is a gold exploration company with a focus on the Stawell Zone, Victoria.

The Stawell Zone is a ~100km wide, north-south belt of rocks that includes the ground from Stawell to Avoca in the east. The zone is highly prospective for gold with multiple historic mines. However, the zone is significantly under-explored when compared to many other Victorian goldfields. Layers of sands, silts and lavas are common though the area, obscuring bedrock and yet also preserves gold potential.
